Conor is starting at Skylight as a principal product manager. He’ll be leading their Care product line for adult caregivers. Before that, he worked as Principal Product Manager at Samsara in Boston. Before that, he was a Product Manager for Duolingo in Pittsburgh. Previously, he served as the Community Manager at SOSventures, where he fostered strong teams and communities across the SOSV accelerator ecosystem. Conor is a 2013 Mitchell Scholar. He received a Master's Degree in Pleanáil Teanga (Language Planning) from the National University of Ireland, Galway. The course, taught through Irish, examined endangered languages and used the Gaeltacht as a case study. Conor studied Irish at the undergraduate level and spent the summer before the program living in Connemara to develop his language skills. Living in Ireland gave him the opportunity to study a country long concerned with the challenge of reviving its native language. Conor is extremely passionate about linguistic diversity and the tragic loss of culture and intangible heritage, such as oral history, that accompanies a language's disappearance. Longer term he plans to examine ways to leverage technology to support the preservation of endangered languages. He completed his MBA at Harvard.
