Rishi is the first product hire at Finch. They’re building an AI-native personal injury firm and services to expand access to legal help. Prior to that, he launched his own company, called Benny, to help people access government benefits in the financial apps they use every day (think applying for unemployment from your banking app). Before that, Rishi was a Product Lead @ Cash App where he worked on features to help millions of Americans save and manage their finances on the app. Prior to that, he spent his career at the intersection of consumer finance, technology, and public policy with previous roles at fintech startups in NYC and in India as a Luce Scholar, in addition to serving as a Director's Analyst at the CFPB under Director Richard Cordray. A 2016 US-Ireland Alliance Scholar, Rishi obtained a Master's Degree in Economics at Trinity College. While in Ireland, Rishi rowed with the Dublin University Boat Club, served as Editor-in-Chief of the Trinity Postgraduate Review, and published his graduate research exploring discrimination on Airbnb in Oxford Economic Papers. Rishi obtained his undergraduate degree from UC Berkeley.
